Personally, I had been sick with Long Covid for quite some time. I had cleared my body of the Covid Spike Proteins; However, I just wasn't feeling like myself yet. My doctors think they had ruled everything else out, and I even had a negative Lyme and Autoimmune disease test from when I had first gotten sick.
To my surprise, doctors are beginning to find that there is a portion of the population that is prone to both Long Covid and Lyme Disease. I had never been bitten by a tick before, so how could I have Lyme?
10% - 20% of people who have Lyme were never bitten by a tick! I was told Covid doesn't trigger Lyme, however, the two can exasperate the other. If you have had Long Covid and just can't seem to get better, make sure you get checked for Lyme!
Turns out, a normal blood test may not always show Lyme. My doctors had me do an Igenex test. It isn't a normal PCR test, but instead a "Culture Enhanced PCR" where they see if the disease is growing in your blood.
